I moved into this building last month and I couldn't be happier! The building is ADORABLE and it's so cool to be able to live in a historic building. The KCAC gallery in the building is a great place to hang out and the people who work there are lovely. The staff is great and the work order I put in last week was address the next day. I love the roof deck, it's a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a beer at night. The neighbors that I've met have all been friendly and pretty chill people too.

Cute converted warehouse atmosphere. Difficult to find the "front door" and even more difficult to find the property manager, who failed to show up. We finally did get to see the apartment, touring with a kind soul who actually had his team member show up for his appointment. Very disappointed as we would have been willing to apply and place a deposit on the spot. Still have not received a call from Lindy explaining why she ditched our appointment.

I lived here from the start of the building opening in 2019 and moved in the start of fall in 2021. The beginning was great - there were such attentive staff from the on-site maintenance to the leasing agent. The unit was pretty, well lit and overall the building was taken care of. Early on at the start of the pandemic things took a pretty unfortunate turn. There was so much staff turnover, I think between 2020-2021 we went through 4 or more management supervisors. This turnover caused real issues for us - if there was any maintenance needed you could count on it not happening, and the building looked generally uncared for (for example, say goodbye to the grill ever getting gas on the roof). Our rent was too high to have appliances not working. It was really a bummer because the beginning was so great. When we moved their lack of communication just culminated - Acme wouldn’t take the calls of the other building management that we were moving to to verify our tenant history. It nearly costed us our cross country move. If management were to get it together, I’d be willing to give 4 stars, but it really negatively impacted our experience. Other than that, the building is great, and I think it was a thoughtful renovation to restore the historic building. The biggest downside is being close to the police station on Linwood and hearing police sirens. I have friends that still live there and it sounds like management is still an issue, which prompted my review. I hope they can get it together for the sake of a great building!

I just moved in here and love it! The area is great, within walking distance of Martini Corner and right next to costco and home depot. I love the old building and the rooftop patio. I can't wait for the KC Arts Council to open up their gallery on the first floor.
