image If I could give a -5 stars that would be more accurate. Seller is trying to sell an ikea dresser, for $275 when I asked if they researched the price on the ikea website she said go ahead and google it. I explained the price online is $334, they’re selling a USED dresser for $50 less than a brand new dresser with a warranty. Her explanation was the owner claims she purchased it for $380. I own several and I know the prices and they’ve never been $380. I emailed the company as clearly so many items were very over priced and there was zero foot traffic, or interest, thinking the owner might not be aware. I received this jewel as a response: I wouldn't sell to you now for any price. I work for this family and have an obligation to get the best price for them. You are rude and inappropriate.

Think twice before patronizing this company they’re too proud of their items, greedy and unwilling to negotiate at all! Not to mention very rude and unprofessional. I go to estate sales weekly and this is NOT normal conduct of estate sale staff.

image Hired Needful Things in April 2021. I was downsizing from rural Platte County moving to Kansas City. I was selling items that I was not taking with me. You can still see the pictures of the sale items online. Here are the main issues I have with Needful Things
1 - Promised a listing of the items that were sold, the sale price and the total of all sale proceeds. I did not receive the listing. Had to ask for it. I did receive a listing that was wrong. If you did not list the wrought iron patio table, 4 chairs and the umbrella stand that sold on the first day, how can I be sure I received the funds that were owed to me?
2 - Was promised a "credit" for the items that Needful Things purchased from my sale. What I received was cash minus their 30% commission. The items purchased were priced at 75% third day discount even though several items were set aside by Needful Things staff before the sale even started and were not sold during the sale. One item was even sold off the books.
3 - The sale set up was very unorganized. Related items were in different rooms, items did not have sale prices on them. Even heard from my neighbors that they did not know items that were for sale were in the barn and run in shed so they did not go to either barn or run in shed to shop. One even said he did not know he could go in the house to shop. It appears there was not much interaction between parties
4 - Needful Things was to be compassionate and respectful - they were not. The lawn, garage, driveway, patio and firepit were used as their ashtray.
I can go on; but why. The whole ordeal was very disappointing. Yes they did make me money, just don't know if the amount is correct - $8,104 total. commission was $2,431. I have emailed trying to work this out .They still owe me money. Nothing. Kept waiting for a response; but have given up

image Went to one of the estate sales yesterday that had a ton a great things, but it was so unorganized and you had to dig and also had to watch your step.
Ordinarily that is not a big deal to me, in fact those are the best kinds! BUT....after spending an hour of my time going through the coolest greeting cards, went to pay and was told, sorry you can't buy these, they're personal.
Then WHY were they out for people to look through???
I could've been looking at other stuff, you lost money with that because I came straight after work and only had 2 hours to shop.
I wasted a complete hour in a section that I couldn't even buy from!!!
I ended up not having time to keep looking thru rest of stuff.
And THAT makes sense how??
