I received a deal from Groupan for services at the center. The doctor had a lot of patience and answered my questions. He recommended me to continue massage therapy. I bought the package from them. I had backache for many years and massage therapy each week helped me to have less pain.Sara Best the massage therapist was fantastic took very good care of me. she helped me to have less pain during the day. Acupuncture/cupping service was ok, there was not much of any explanation of the procedure or what to do/expect afterwards. Just kind of left in the room with the needles/cups for a while, so I assumed that's how it works? Than I was done pretty quickly. Couple small swelling areas on my lower back where needles were afterwards, but it didn't hurt just kind of itched. Again I'm sure this is normal, but it'd be nice to know by the Dr. since it was my first time. Aside from that, unfortunately, I would not recommend this place. I purchased a Groupon and was looking forward to trying this place out to see if I wanted to received monthly services. However, when it came to scheduling the massage service after receiving the acupuncture & cupping treatment, I was offered 1 option which was the following Monday of my Friday appointment. Therefore, I booked the appointment since it was presented as my only option. Monday I called to see if there were any other openings to reschedule, as suggested by the front desk person and the lady on the phone said I couldn't reschedule since it is not 24 hrs in advance. Keep in mind they're not open on the weekends, and this appointment was scheduled Friday evening. I just think its poor service to not make an exception especially if its a Groupon(aka new) customer, looking to try out your service for the first time. FYI definitely not flexible. Side-note: I asked to wait until next week to schedule that appointment, and she said since its a Groupon I had to schedule it right after the treatment I had just received. Not sweating it too much, just want to give others a heads up about using a Groupon here--I'll just continue going to my usual massage place I guess :)

First heard about this place via Groupon and am glad I signed up. I have been twice and both times Dr. Letts was kind and knowledgeable. He was able to relieve significant tension I've been experiencing in my back and neck. The second time I went was for a massage by Sarah and I am 100% satisfied. I will be returning as the service I have received was excellent. -Kevin

Dr. Letts was personable & spent time with me. He said normally they have me see the medical doctor, right after him. But they fit me in & medical didn't have time to see me. Their website says free consult for new patients. They tried to charge me $55 for my appointment. I showed them their website. They said today would be free, but I would have to pay $55 to see medical. But if I would have seen them today, wasn't it all part of the consult? Dr. Letts made it sound that way, because he would not do an adjustment or give me a treatment plan, until after I saw medical. When I asked to have Dr. Letts call me, before I made my next appointment, the manager got on the phone & told me the same crap they said in the office. So if I see medical & Dr. Letts in the same day, is it $110? No thank you. He told me is big on customer service & if I ever had any problems, to let him know. Well his office manager obviously didn't get the memo. Sounds like they do good work, but I will not be back.

This review is for the therapeutic massage done by Samantha Judkins at the Pain Management Center of Irvine.I initially encountered and visited this place through a Groupon deal, which included an assessment, 2 adjustments and a massage. I had chronic back pain issues for months, and was hoping to find relief here. The initial hour-long massage was done by Samantha. I normally prefer the soothing, relaxing kind of massages and have always hated painful/deep tissue massages. She has a very firm hand and the massage was definitely very painful at times, which is not so much about her technique but about my health issues. She, however, has a gift of knowing exactly where the pain/issue is, and how much pressure to apply that will remedy the problem. That hour-long massage was one of the most painful massages of my life. It, however, was also a blessing for me; after having tried out many chiropractors, doctors and other "solutions", it was her massage that started healing my back at last. Despite the pain, she managed to make it a very positive experience and I know that the pain I experienced was the healing kind, and it will help me get better.This week, I went back to get another massage by Sam (this time only 30 minutes), and it was the same positive experience. I received an excellent healing massage, as well as some helpful suggestions on a few stretches and yoga poses to practice to help with my back. The massage room is also incredibly soothing with a Young Living diffuser/essential oils, beautiful meditation/yoga music and a very calm overall ambiance.It's really hard to find an amazing therapeutic masseuse and I am so happy I found her. I will definitely keep coming back for more massages. Thanks, Samantha!
