My family has been apart of Tendercare Home Health since my child was 2 and hes 13 now and I have no complaints one of the best agencies in Indianapolis and family oriented company!

I feel so blessed to work for Tendercare and could not have imagined a better place to start my career. I consistently feel valued, supported, and appreciated. The management team truly cares about my success and well-being, and the passion they have for their clients is inspiring and motivating. They stand true to their values and are always open to feedback and ideas that contribute towards the companys growth. I am proud to work for and learn from this organization. A fantastic workplace

If you have any other options, I recommend going anywhere else. We chose Tendercare after a recommendation when I went back to work full-time in 2020 after staying home to care for my son with medical needs. It was difficult to initially get a nurse; understandably during the height of Covid. We finally obtained a regular nurse for awhile. She ended up having family medical issues that subsequently caused her to be off work for an extended period of time. Tendercare kept stating she would return and then last minute say she couldn't. This caused my son's father to lose his job because of the last minute communications. He could have requested vacation days if we had 24 hours notice (which they were aware of). He had used all available sick and FMLA days and was let go. Skipping forward to 2022.. We stayed on as patients in hopes of regaining sevices eventually. We told them in May we wanted regular hours and they kept saying they would try to fulfill our need but as of December only fulfilled 2 days total. We had requested 3 days a week. Throughout our time with them they sited the nursing shortage as why (for years) we were unable to get another nurse and were told we could "go elsewhere" multiple times, unapologetically. We told by Becky Paetz, the assistant director of nursing and I quote, "You aren't going to want to hear this but there are many kids worse off than R*** that need nursung more and they aren't getting it." She was cold and unemotional despite my plea for help because we have not had respite or assistance with childcare since my son was born in 2018. They let us go as clients one week before Christmas siting inability to staff. I take responsibility for keeping our son's case with them for so long. The nurse they were able to staff for us was always intending to come back and because our son adored her we held out hope we could finally get regularly staffed again. I have never had someone minimize my son's condition or our need for care in all 4 years of him receiving care in the medical community. The hurt is immeasurable. We trusted them in our home and lives and to be disrespected and treated as disposable and undeserving of care is unconscionable and unethical.
