Dr. Godfrey is awful and this is the first time I have left a doctor's appointment feeling genuinely angry. I normally love this place. The reception staff have always been great and have gone above and beyond in the past. My regular doctor, Dr. Smith, is incredible! Kind, funny and very informative. However, I needed an appointment quickly and as Dr. Smith is booked out for a while, I took a next day appointment with Godfrey (no surprise he has so much availability). He was 50 MINUTES LATE to my appointment. He popped by while I was waiting to ask 2 questions which he RE-ASKED me two more times when he finally came back. After he took 3 minutes to look at my eyes, he prescribed me the same steroids I was given a year ago that didn't work. I told him I was worried that this issue has come back and asked if there is anything else that might be causing it. He started talking down to me like I was a child and eventually said "no, it seems like an allergy" (which he hadn't even mentioned in the first place). Then he said to use a specific type of contact solution and I happened to mention I used to use it years ago, and he said, "No, you only use that when there's a problem," and I said, "No, that's what my old eye doctor just had me use daily." And he got really stern and just said "No you don't use that," all but calling me an idiot and saying I don't know what solution I used for years. I was actually shocked by his tone, and very confused why he was being so confrontational for seemingly no reason. It was a 10 minute appointment he was 50 minutes late for, and he wouldn't listen to my concerns and never even offered a follow-up to check if my eyes were better. I wasn't surprised that nearly all "doctor-specific" negative reviews here were about him. It's very confusing to me why nothing has changed in the years since those reviews.

This was my first time at a MyEyeDr and I had the best experience. Dr. Hannah Carter took the time to explain things to me and truly cared for me as a person! I will definitely be coming back here!

Surprise fees. I walked in and was told I would have to pay $xx that wasn't covered by insurance (which was expected). Then, at checkout, they told me I also had a $129 contact fit fee (which I've never had at another myeye dr or ANY eye doctor. I will never do business again with myeye dr. This was the 2nd location I've given a chance and had a bad experience each time. Dr. Godfrey himself was great though.

Outstanding service, incredible staff, amazing selection, and home of the world class Dr. Cater! Dr. Cater went out of her way to squeeze me in for an appointment in an already busy schedule. Dr. Cater is thoughtful efficient, and possesses unmatched skill, passion, and medical knowledge in her field. The appointments are comprehensive, caring, and smooth. I truly enjoy coming for eye exams and always leave feeling like I got the best value out of my visit. Also want to shout out Alicia who gave me awesome advice on my glasses choice and walked me through the best options. The staff here is genuine and does a great job managing the business. This office has consistently provided service that is truly worthy of recognition. Thank you Dr. Cater, Alicia, and staff for an amazing experience.

I had my first appointment at this location yesterday. I was easily able to make my appointment online and in a few minutes complete the pre-visit paperwork. Everyone I encountered was welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Holly expertly took me through the steps for the pre-exam testing and was extremely patient when I would blink when I needed to keep my eyes open. Dr. Hannah Cater was down-to-earth and made me feel at ease throughout the appointment. I hadnt worn contacts in a while so she gave me samples for dailies that are so comfortable. After my appointment, Christina expertly fixed my existing glasses and was wonderful on suggesting new frames that would fit my face shape and colors that flattered. Overall, my experience was great. I would highly recommend!
