Had brought my daughter's ring neck dove in back in January to be examined because she is severely constipated and had a large lump by her vent. Dr. diagnosed her as malnourished, gave her a calcium shot, and commented the lump was a hernia. That visit was $127! Since he was the closest avian vet, we figured with his experience he'd know what was wrong. By March 23rd, the lump had doubled in size. I told my wife it was definitely cancer and we need to see if it is to where it could be taken out. We took the dove in and he xrayed her, declaring that she was eat up with aggressive cancer. Had about 7 or 8 spots. He said she had about maybe 2 months. When we left after his 15 minutes or less of work, we were presented with what I consider to be an obscene bill for $274.00! 55.00 for the exam, $34 for about 1 unit of a cortico steroid and the xray of $185.00! I have never paid that much out of pocket for an xray. In comparison, my chiropractor charges $60 for one, $110 for two, etc. The vet I use to treat our dog charged $300 for 2 xrays, antibiotic therapy, cortisone shot for an infected leg. Another gentleman was waiting with a quaker parrot. I seen his face when he heard the total. No way this is remotely right to charge this much. He may be reasonable with dogs because he has to be, if you have a bird, just don't come here.

My dogs organs were shutting down and I needed to have him euthanized. These heartless people said if we haven't ever seen your dog then we CANNOT help you.Please use any vet other than this heartless souless place
