I live at one of their properties" Element Apartments". Four vehicles were broken into on Saturday night. There's a gate that has been broken for months and management has yet to fix this problem. Management has informed me that I'm responsible for the damages to my car.

Owned by Crooks. Managed by Crooks. They donate prolifically to Sylvester Turner, and Sheila Jackson Lee. They steal commissions and refuse to pay contractors. This company needs to be shut down and it's management jailed. Buy here, pay here car lots are more honest.

The ceiling in my master bedroom fell in, and they've so far done nothing to help us get into a new unit, and hung up on me when I contacted them.

I wish there was an option for zero stars, because Oak Leaf doesnt even deserve one star. Worst property management company Ive ever dealt with, and Ive had a ton of landlords. Completely incompetent property managers who never answer the phone, never fix things, and cannot seem to do a single thing right. If you are thinking about renting from anywhere managed by Oak Leaf, DO NOT DO IT. If you an a property owner thinking about hiring Oak Leaf to manage your property, DO NOT DO IT. You will see the vacancies go up almost immediately due to their incompetence. The people who work for this company do not care at all. Maintenance issues, portal issues, payment issues, phone issues, general upkeep of property issues, notice issues, and more.

Resident at one of the properties. I transferred to a different unit almost been 60 days ago I should have received my original deposit by 30 days. After they FINALLY mailed my check almost 2 weeks ago it still has not arrived. I called to see about a stopped check so I can just pick it up from their office, and have not been followed up with. They also want to charge me $35 to stop the check. If I took this long to pay my rent I wouldnt have an apartment. But when they owe you money they take their sweet sweet time.
