I believe Dr. R is a fantastic doctor but unfortunately I would not be able to say for sure because despite starting months prior I never got to actually have surgery. He seemed like he wanted my business and felt confident about what I needed but everything moved so slowly and despite my best efforts nothing ever got booked. I know things are odd during the pandemic but no explanation or apology was ever offered. I should not have to chase anyone down if I am paying thousands of dollars of my hard earned money so I found another surgeon and booked my date the same day. Dr. R's staff seems nice as other reviews have reported so I am not sure what the issue was but it was a disappointing experience in the end.

I'm going to leave an honest review of my experience having an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) done by Dr. Rappaport. I was bedridden for 4 months and had to have corrective surgery to have his sloppy work fixed.Right after the tummy tuck I had a very huge pocket full of fluid going down the entire length of my abdominal scar on both sides. I had to have corrective surgery to have it fixed. He didn't charge me for the surgery since it was his fault but I had to fork out another $3000 within only a few days notice for the hospital bill. After already paying $13k cash for the abdominoplasty. After the corrective surgery was over I got a severe infection around my belly button which took him multiple office visits to repair and it took 2 months to heal. The infection was caused by the sutures he made being burst open right after the surgery was over which caused the infection. At one point he even had the nerve to ask me to purchase a medication he needed for the infection instead of him supplying it. He created a huge and wide scar above my belly button by him repairing the open wound. He told me he'd repair the huge scar during my next surgery instead of fixing it in his office. But I NEVER scheduled or ever said I was going to have another surgery by him. He just didn't want to spend any more time fixing another mistake he made unless I gave him more money for another surgery.I also have a huge bubble on top of my skin below my breasts which was created where he first cut me open during the tummy tuck. I was lied to by Dr. Rappaport and his "assistant" Iris who both told me that the huge skin bubble would completely go away. It's been 1.5 years now and the huge bubble is still present. It has never even flattened a little bit. It's as big as it was right after the surgery. It's always the first thing everyone notices when I show them my stomach. I've had people point at it and say "ew what is that?". I am completely embarrassed and ashamed to show my stomach. This surgery was suppose to give me confidence and instead it took all of my confidence away. I never show my stomach to anyone or in public because it looks so bad and I'm embarrassed.I refused to go to my last appointment with him because I didn't want to continue being butchered. I found a new plastic surgeon who has helped me try to fix his mistakes and make my stomach look better. But he cannot get the huge skin bubble to flatten or go away.I wasted $16k on a horribly done tummy tuck. I am so unhappy with the results. And I went through hell and experienced so much pain while also not being able to work for 4 months. I was completely ripped off by Dr. Rappaport. My new plastic surgeon said I should of lost another 20 lb. before I ever even had this tummy tuck but Dr. Rappaport never recommended that to me because he only cared about getting my money.He never came to visit me after both surgeries were over which I found to be completely rude and unprofessional. I had to reach out to him to even find out how both surgeries went. He does not care about his patients at all. He is extremely rude and always made me feel very uncomfortable with the way he berated his employees in front of me.Dr. Rappaport is a horrible plastic surgeon and an even worse person. Every single visit I had with him he pointed out all of my flaws and tried to sell me on more surgeries. He only cares about getting your money. He gave me a horribly done tummy tuck and I deeply regret choosing Dr. Rappaport for my surgery.

Dr. Rappaport is a master sculptor of the human body! I underwent an extended abdominoplasty and medial thigh lift a few months ago and I couldn't be happier. His skill and technique with body contouring after massive weight loss is truly impressive! I lost and kept off over 100 lbs since 2011 and he helped me with the final phase of my body transformation. I look in the mirror and am amazed at the way my new body looks... I feel confident in my own skin for the first time in a long time. If you're looking for a surgeon who has many years of experience under his belt and is no nonsense in his approach, look no further.

I cannot tell you how much I trust and would recommend Dr. Rappaport and his team!! Not only do they make you feel comfortable with the process, they explain every last detail to you. Iris is absolutely amazing at easing any worry and working through every question. She walks you through the process and ensures you understand what will be taking place. Dr. Rappaport has absolutely changed my life after performing my breast reduction surgery! I will be recommending him and his team to any of my friends, family, and even strangers. Thank you for changing my life!

I had a bad experience at another plastic surgeons office and when I came to see Dr. Rappaport him and his staff were amazing. After Tummy tuck and breast lift I feel like a new person. Best part no pain during recovery. That was my worst fear but Dr. Rappaport assured me I would experience no pain and he was right! Professional staff and excellent work! Highly recommend.
