Courtyard by Marriott Houston NW/290 Corridor

Overall experience was average, I will warn you about showering, my wife slipped while getting in the shower and landed on the toilet, when we told front desk, she gave my wife a free Starbucks coffee and did not follow procedure into filing a report. The following day she lied and said we refused to make a report yet we accepted a bag of ice for her back. We are in talks with lawyers. Rooms: Average Nearby activities: none other then the Glamour Girls strip bar down the road. Safety: Shower is dangerous, very slippery, I believe cleaning people did not wash all cleaning product off and it made it slippery. Food & drinks: There is no food or drink unless to over pay for water and snacks in their overpriced lobby. They have free coffee in rooms but you have to pay 4 bucks for water because they do not provide water. Noteworthy details: Showers are dangerously slippery, GM denied the accident and said they are not liable for accidents to guest.

An ok Courtyard. I prefer other parts of Houston with more food and walking options around my hotel. There were few diverse food options nearby. Front-of-house and restaurant staff werent responsive at times and a few times I was wondering if staff was working. I didnt care for the fruit flies in the restaurant.

Not friedly, not good customer services I come in the let me wait first then next morning the dont have caffe signs was there 24h caffe
