When we first used Advanced Surveying we had an issue with our property line. Tom Bloom went above and beyond to figure out this issue. He contacted the city to get more information. I firmly believe without Toms help we would never have gotten the answers needed. Tom was always prompt in returning my calls. To say we were satisfied with Advance Surveying is an understatement.

My weird problem is that my neighbors driveway is installed all along my backyard. His parking and driving skills are not great and we find he often parks and drives into our yard. The city recommended we get a survey and mark our property line as visibly as possible. I contacted advanced survey and Im sure gave waaay too much information on my problem keeping cars off our backyard. Predictably less than 48 hours after the survey the neighbor hit one of the stakes and tore it out BUT advanced survey didnt just put up extra stakes but gave us new pins too. This allowed me to replace the stake. Now weve completed a landscaping project to deter car traffic into our yard And I was able to use the new pins to put up bright orange markers which should satisfy the citys suggestion to keep our border marked. Hopefully problem solved!

Ugh! Advance Surveying is the company my fencing company--Midwest Fence--uses to do their surveying. They were supposed to call/contact in advance so we knew when to expect them. Not only did they NOT do that, but they didn't bother to ring the doorbell or otherwise notify us that they would be surveying our property. I just happened to be stepping out into the backyard when this guy cuts through our yard and went behind our lilac bushes. Freaked me out...and he scared the neighbors, too, who told me about it later. When I went up and asked him who he was he was NOT at all nice about it, very rude and dismissive. I will not be doing any business with this company in the future, have notified Midwest Fence and will be telling my friends and neighbors about this unprofessional experience.
