Talking with a lawyer or even pursuing legal help can be intimidating.  I gave Mr. Healy a call because of yelp reviews, and everyone was right- very respectful and empathetic. Unfortunately, not all cases are to the letter of the "employment" law here in Hawaii, but Mr. Healy explains to you why without making you feel ignorant.  Even though I have no case, client or not, he still listened to my plight and offered some really good advice.  In a world where "time is money," I am grateful that Mr. Healy took the time to talk to me as a person and for his invaluable advice.

Did not use services, but (in constrast to inquiries with other law offices) experienced great professionalism, communication and empathy. I was just informed that Michael Healy does not handle my type of case. This is unfortunate for me, because from our short correspondence alone I witnessed his kindness, respect, and encouragement, which can be critical qualities when looking for help in difficult or even traumatizing circumstances. Instead of being ignored or rudely brushed off, I was contacted immediately and with much professionalism and humanity! Mahalo for that, Mr. Healy, and best wishes to you in your practice.

Mr. Heally was more concerned about helping me than he was about extracting money from my pockets; a rare attribute in a lawyer these days!

Mr. Healy was extremely courteous and welcoming on our initial call, took the time to review my information and provided excellent follow up advice to steer me in the right direction. Although he could not assist me as intended (due to the context of my issues), he still provided excellent guidance as to the next possible steps I could take, which is more than I could ask for. I wholeheatedly recommend contacting Mr. Healy for your legal issues.
