Budget Truck Rental

It’s a budget truck can’t really say more about it besides it gets the job done. Fuel tanks are huge and require a lot to fill up 33 gallons heater costed me $97.

As a renter in South Florida we have rented trucks no less than a dozen times over the years. NEVER have we had an experience like the one we had today at Budget Truck Rental 2520 Miami Road Fort Lauderdale 33316. The reservation for a 16' ft truck was placed just over 30 day in advance and include 1 hand truck and a car carrier. We arrived at the Pick Up location : Budget Of Port Everglades just after 8:30 am after having spoken to staff several times this week to verify some details The truck was there, no car carrier or a hand truck. We were instructed to go to another location to get car carrier and hand truck which is about 7 miles away. We then discovered the truck battery was dead and it would be at least one hr until a replacement would arrive. In the meantime the crew we hired to load the truck arrived. We now were paying for people to sit and wait. Only after the truck was loaded were we informed that it has no working air conditioner. As we write this at 1pm the air temp is 84 and the feels like is 96 degrees. To say wee are unhappy customers would be a gross understatement. We have never used Budget before and will never use it again.
