Shame on me for being a last minute planner and shopper that I put myself through all this stress but in the end it truly worked out for the best. This shop will be my everything alterations stop moving forward and I highly recommend you giving them your business. I had spent too much of my time calling around to see who could do last minute alterations. I was going down a Google review list by proximity of my home address and above 4 star review. Everyone had turned me down with the short turn around time I provided. I received my dress in the mail on a Tuesday evening and needed alterations completed and ready for pick up by that same week on Friday 4 pm latest so I could travel with my dress to my destination. My request was having the dress shortened by an inch, straps shortened by an inch and steam cleaned. I did have a floral piece that was coming unglued and needed it attached again as well. When I called this shop on that Tuesday I received my dress in the mail they had told me to bring it in the following day Wednesday after work. When I arrived I was greeted by the most friendly woman who helped me get into my dress and began pinning the dress for alterations. I even forgot my shoes at home and she said no problem and put me in a pair of shoes to help guide the alterations. No questions were asked just immediately jumped to business and she knew exactly what to do. I left the shop and returned on Friday at 4 pm and was able to try on the dress. It seriously was stunning and she did an incredible job!!! I was willing to pay anything for my inconvenience to any business that was willing to help make this happen. The best part of all, when my dress needed shortened I was given 2 options. The seamstress explain how she could cut the dress an inch at the bottom and then sew it. Or I could pay extra and she would cut the bottom thicker hem save it after shortening the dress and reattach it for a more finished look. I chose this option and was willing to pay extra. If you look closely at my pictures. You can see the detail of the hem and how sharp it looks. Seriously Im so happy with the results and again will be taking all my alteration needs to this shop. I again will reiterate how much I highly recommend this shop for your alteration needs. Thank you Elegant Alterations!
