Ironically, I found you to be just about as rude as a person can possibly be, especially considering you actually hung up on me! As far as pricing is concerned, my price structure may differ from others as everyone has a different cost basis on which they operate. You, nor anyone else, are forced to contract my services and I feel no compunction, whatsoever to justify my pricing. I will, however, explain a few things for your edification and for any others that may read this. Some companies offer a rate for less than a full day, however, I, and others, do not. Furthermore, they also often increase their price exponentially when their minimum allotted time es exceeded on the job which is the reason I refrain from the practice. Additionally, to your point of me being overpriced, I am wondering how you are qualified to make such a claim? I did not discern from our conversation that you have worked in this field or were any kind expert on the pricing structure of the concrete pumping industry! In actuality, you did not appear to have even the most basic knowledge or experience to allow you to make such a judgement. In reality, I perceived you to be quite uninformed as to exactly what type of pump you needed, so it is quite likely that you have not been comparing the same type of machinery. If you were so sure my price was high, why were you not equally sure that whomever offered you a pump for $1,100 was offering you an outstanding price? It begs the question… why did you feel the need to persist in calling five other companies over a three-day period if you were so sure of the pricing? As far as my voicemail being full, yes, it is …it happens. In the end, I am proud to say that I have been in business for more than 25 years with hundreds of satisfied customers.
