I ordered the hawk stopper netting. The netting arrived completely tangled and nothing like the instructions pictured. Considering I paid $95 for this netting, I expected that it be packaged more carefully.
I spent hours trying to untangle it without any success. I contacted Maine Outdoor Solutions for a refund (they state they have a 30-day money back guarantee). They replied to my email fairly quickly and said they have a new version of the product that I might be happier with.
I sent a follow-up email asking questions about the new version. Never heard back. I sent emails asking about getting a refund. Never heard back. I tried calling their business number. It took me to an answering service and I left my information. Never heard back. Still haven't received a refund.
Not a business I'd recommend to anyone.

I tried the coyote urine to keep a woodchuck out of the garden. After placing the scent tags 10 ft apart didn't work, I placed them between every other broccoli and on both sides of the beans. I also put old socks with the pee down the rows. The woodchuck ate the entire crops of broccoli and beans the afternoon after I increased all the pea tags and it hadn't rained the night before. It is now starting on the kale. I know it was a woodchuck because I see it when I approach the garden. The garden has an 8 ft fence so not deer. The coyote pee is worthless for woodchucks.
I also had wolf urine which has kept the weasels away from my chickens, unless the weasel just left. It does not deter cats as stated; mine go right into the chicken yard with me and are not repelled from the treated areas.
I added some of this wolf pee into the garden and saw the woodchuck there again, right next to the tags. Don't waste money on this stuff for woodchucks.
