We are experiencing the death rattle of the Post Office. Replacing salaried staff with pension and benefits with only hourly employees for the past 2 plus decades is a self fulfilling prophecy.
Nobody cares, lines out the door, short staffed...It's a 30 minute line regardless of when you go. I don't blame the workers. Set up for failure but very problematic for customers.

I dont like to give low ratings but for a government family, this post office consistently disappoints - not because of the clerks who seem nice- but the lines are incredibly long with one or two (max) at the counter when the line is out the door. Meanwhile the self-service machine is broken without a sign as it takes peoples money.

Theres an African American woman at the front desk with long hair working today (2/23/2024 around 2-230p), looks about 30y/o who clearly hates her job. She was rude, rolled her eyes, speaks quietly and got mad when I said what?, I asked her about my service request I filled out online & supposedly theres not one manager on property because theyre doing other managers duties youre not the only person who needs to speak to one so she only took my phone number and just put it on the desk behind her. Whether or not that is the policy to speak to a manager then that needs to be fixed as well. How can a government building not have ONE manager on property? Regardless, she should work in the back of the house if she doesnt want to work with people, Im sure Im not the only one who has ever complained about her & her horrible personality and service.

Probably the worst post office you come in any time . Line is out the door freaking ridiculous! Why is it always one person working
