Dr Blackie is amazing; Michael gives the best massage around. This place is all around a great choice. The ambience here is phenomenal. The clinic is clean and beautiful. The retreat center is a hidden gem and highly suggest a visit here.

Beth did a phenomenal job with very short notice. I came in with some serious pain around my shoulder blade and it was delt with perfectly! I left feeling much better with some great aftercare recommendations. Ill be booking another appointment soon! Oh! And the house made chocolates are to die for

As a massage practitioner myself, I was very curious to experience the modality of barefoot massage. I was particularly keen on learning in what way the foot might lend itself to accessing different areas of the body that require care and sensitivity to placement of pressure. I was astounded at Alana's ability to deliver controlled pressure to areas like the low back, and neck. It seemed at times that the foot lent itself better than hands for many areas of the body. I like a lot of pressure on my back but not my legs. Delivering steady deep pressure can be a challenge to therapists, and can be fatiguing for extended periods. However, Alana had no issues safely applying enough pressure to my back, with her feet for extended periods of time without wearing herself out, because she had gravity on her side. At the same time, she was able to reign the pressure back and deliver lighter pressure to more delicate areas such as the backs of my legs and neck. Not only was the massage executed with excellence, it was a fun, unique experiencing that broadened my understanding of barefoot massage as a modality. I highly recommend Alana's barefoot massage. She is a skilled, thoughtful practitioner who is not only affective but fun to be around.
