    Came down to our home in Corolla only to find that our thermostat was stuck in the "Wait" mode and thus we were unable to get any heat from that system. By chance , I noticed that my neighbor was having seasonal service performed on their HVAC units by NBS. I asked the technician,Chad, if he had a moment to take a look at the thermostat. He said sure and tried a few things. As he left he told me that if the system didn't correct in another 10 minutes that I should call for a fuller evaluation the next day. I offered him a tip as he had spent an additional 15 mins of his time helping me but he repeatedly refused to accept it. Well, I did need to set up a legitimate service call as the system failed to turn on. As it turns out Chad was the technician who came out. He told me he had been considering the problem since the other day and he was able to quickly resolve the problem. I should add that Chad again refused to accept a tip. Also the issue was completely covered under my service agreement/warranty that I have with NBS as well. Bottom line is that I received outstanding service from NBS and Chad, in particular. The fact that he was willing to take a serious look at the problem the first day, without me even having a formal appointment, serves as a stronger recommendation than anything else I can write. Thanks for your help, Chad.
