Im not usually the one to write reviews but I had to for this. I used to go to Iris all the time but their prices have gone up dramatically. My friend informed me that they were doing 40% off so we decided to go. They almost didnt offer me the 40% off because I didnt get the code sent to me even though I confirmed on the phone before booking that I would receive the 40% off.. in regards to the actual pedicure itself, Im disappointed. I had black shellac on my toes prior, granted the polish was very grown out, they didnt even remove the existing polish! You can see the black on my toes!! They cut my toes unevenly. I had to come home and file them myself. Messy job . My friends daughter also came in for her first mani and pedi! Suppose to be a fun experience and they were getting frustrated with her for moving a tiny bit.. Not happy with the experience at all.

Hi Madi, we are sorry you didn’t have a good experience. The promotion was written clearly “applied only to online bookings” not walk in bookings or over the phone bookings. The goal is for clients to learn and be familiar to our new online booking system. We are doubtful that our experienced nail techs, in your case was Mimi (even new nail techs), who does not know the basic skills to remove previous nail polish before applying new nail polish. Please do let us know of issues before leaving the salon that way we can correct our errors and you can feel that you have beautiful toes. Yesterday, due to the snow/ice storm, our salon was not busy and we would be more than happy to redo your polish. Our nail techs are trained to serve teens and even kid clients. Wow your prices have increased a huge amount, over $100.00 for a pedicure in Happy Valley seems just a bit much. You also seem to have a huge turn over. We have been surprised in the amount of girls that have text and said they have moved on and asked to come visit them at their new place of employment. Good luck as once people find out out this new pricing I am sure there might be some back lash.

Thanks Clay for your feedback. Pricing depends on the economy and inflation. If you would like to pay a lowe price please visit other salons. Our prices are listed when people book online or people can ask at the time of booking. As for our turnover that’s our business, staff move on or due to their own reasons that’s is beyond our control. If the staff texted you. Per support that you go to the new salon where they are working at now for lower price. As a business we maintain certain expectations and requirements for staff to provide excellent service to our clients. Have a great day.

They have a new appointment system but now multiple times they have booked over the time reserved. With a confirmation and all, they continue to say there is nothing they can do. A courtesy call to say they are running late would be helpful too. Not very accommodating. Which is frustrating.

Also, we had other clients that showed up late to their appointments that ran over other appointments. Not everything is under our control that we know ahead of time to give your a courtesy call.
