image We want to thank both Dana and Donna for providing a place that fosters friendships like this school does. Through schooling with all of our kidswe have never found a place as wonderful as PGP, and we will surely miss it come August when Kindergarten begins. We had a playdate with some of our friends from school yesterday and it just made me even more grateful for them both and the amazing teachers at PGP!

image Piedmont Global is the best! We wanted to enroll our daughter into preschool after relying on family and grandparents through the pandemic. After calling around to find childcare facilities with available space for one child (being put on several waiting lists), we were able to take a tour of several facilities that had openings for our anticipated start-date. The tour of PGP showed that their facility was head and shoulders above what we had seen. We met Donna and Dana on this tour and they couldn't have been more welcoming, informative, and provided the biggest sense of relief for parents that would be selecting their first childcare facility for their daughter. The administrators, the facility (location), teachers, and the classroom composition/diversity were all factors in our decision to go with PGP. We enrolled our 4yr old daughter in PGP in the Inventors classroom. The Inventors class, though not an offical 'Pre-K' classroom associated through Guilford County Schools, is for 4 and 5yr old kids that works to get kids ready for Kindergarten. The teachers of the Inventors classroom, Mrs. Tangia, Mrs. Shannon, and Ms. Rosalind were all just absolutely fantastic! You can tell that they really enjoy their jobs and the satisfaction they get from seeing the smiles on the kids and the kids' achievements as they grow is really genuine. The curriculum taught was wide-ranging and provided challenges for the classroom to really help get kids ready for kindergarten. The teachers' experience with our daughter and their thoughts on her "readiness" for kindergarten was a factor in our decision to apply for her early entry into kindergarten because of her later birthday (she missed the regular kindergarten age cutoff by one month). PGP was great in working with us during this process and the uncertainty we faced. Even though the Inventor's class had graduated and went on to 'big school,' PGP was glad to keep our daughter enrolled as we awaited word from the local principal regarding early acceptance. Finally, upon gaining early acceptance to kindergarten, PGP did not penalize us with an exit fee or requiring a full month's payment when we removed our daughter (as it was already early September). It was such a relief to have PGP there for us in any way we needed while we experienced such a stressful time. We couldn't have been more happy with our time and experience at PGP and would recommend this childcare facility to any parent.

image Our five year old will be transitioning from his class room at Wishview to a PGP in the new year. I am confident that he will adjust quickly and will be supported by teachers and staff that I can trust. I can feel like I can always rely on the staff, administrators and the owners to address any concerns we have during the move.

image We had the best experience here from the time my son was 18 months until kindergarten. We considered it to be school more so than daycare, because of all of the enrichment and learning activities. The curriculum is educational, age-appropriate, and confidence-boosting. The teachers take excellent care of the children; they were/are like family to us. The school administrators go above and beyond to make sure each family is accommodated. I was amazed by the reasonable pricing, given all PGP offers. We were sad to leave PGP, but everyone there prepared my son so well for kindergarten! Thank you for giving my son a safe place to grow, learn, and explore! Ill be forever grateful.

image The quality of Piedmont Global is subpar, at best. I worked for six years as a teacher at this center (18 overall as a preschool teacher), and after learning about the new administration, I hoped for a different experience than I had previously had as an employee. I returned after four years, looking for care for my own child, knowing PGP has a few great teachers who shine brightly even amid the administrative challenges at the preschool. From what I could tell, everything seemed ok. Not necessarily great, but good enough. Several weeks thereafter, I returned to work as a substitute to help after learning they were losing their 3rd Toddler teacher this year, abruptly. Unfortunately, once I started to spend more time there, I observed a significant decline in the school's morality and standards as a licensed five-star center. One teacher's consistent, harsh, and scornful behavior toward children raised immediate concerns and I questioned the commitment they claimed to have to provide a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for the children. This cruel teacher led me to ultimately unenroll my child from Piedmont Global and quit after being back at work for just 5 days. The physical state of the facility has noticeably deteriorated, portraying severe neglect for upkeep, especially the playground. Unless the preschool promptly aligns with the mandated standards for a five-star licensed center, the safety of this preschool remains questionable. The toxic atmosphere created by the administration and owner's treatment of staff has only intensified over the years. Their lack of support for teachers is evident, still expecting significant dedication with minimal compensation or even appreciation. I cannot work for or enroll my child at another preschool where adherence to the right practices is selective and dedication to overall well-being is severely lacking. These are our children and the ones teaching our children; they deserve the best. Despite the claim of being the best in Greensboro, the distinction becomes questionable if the standard is only slightly better than other subpar options.
