DO NOT GO HERE. AVOID THIS OFFICE. I went in to this place because they were the only ones with same day availability, and I needed to ask questions about a toenail that was beginning to become ingrown due to a poorly done pedicure. This ended up being the worst medical experience I've ever had. The doctor came into the room (Dr. Hallgren) and before I could say anything, he goes "Yep, we'll get this done today." I was NOT prepared to go through the procedure, I did not want to have it done that day. I said it so many times over and over and was not only ignored but chastised for having anxiety and "being emotional". The doctor was unbelievably mean, rude, and inconsiderate. Instead of calming me down, the doctor took advantage of my panic to "get it over with" and poured dye on my foot and before I could say anything, he jammed the numbing needle into my toe. I DID NOT PROVIDE CONSENT TO THIS HAPPENING!!! I did not provide sound and stable agreement to this, and it happened so fast that I was barely able to process what was going on. What is wrong with this office to do that to someone?!?! THIS WAS BARBARIC!!! I began to have a panic attack and was sobbing in their chair which has NEVER happened to me before and I've gotten this procedure done 4x somewhere else. I was not in a stable mind to get this done and I don't know why they didn't just stop for one second to let or help me calm down. I felt like they took advantage of my panic to get the procedure done quick. The doctor left as soon as it was bandaged, and I was left sitting there with zero questions answered and in a state of pure shock that this happened. They had me sign the consent form AFTER it was done! I wasn't in a stable mind to question this and was STILL dealing with anxiety/crying. I don't know how this doctor has his license because what he did was in complete, total malpractice. If this malpractice is normal for this man, he needs his license revoked. This was entirely unethical treatment. The nurses were nice enough to hold my hand and one of them had just tried talking to me to take my mind off of what was happening. I wish someone actually took a second to LISTEN TO ME instead of trying to take my mind off of it and letting it happen. I feel entirely taken advantage of. I feel like I wasn't listened to. I didn't give proper consent to what happened. I felt like I was treated like an animal. This has caused so much fear, emotional and mental distress, and now trauma that was completely unnecessary. I haven't stopped crying over this experience, and I have never been through something this terrible. This was unethical and INHUMANE!!! I shared my experience on social media and was told similar poor experiences from other friends/locals. AVOID THIS PLACE. If anyone from the office sees this review, cancel my follow up. I'd go to the extent of saying this place should be sued for malpractice. What you did was NOT NORMAL!!!!!

Dr. VanFosson and his staff were incredibly patient, kind, and helpful while our autistic son struggled (a lot) to have plaster casts made of his feet for orthotics. They are a professional team that left a very positive first impression.

I like Dr VanFosson a LOT. But just like a lot of doctor offices these days this office completely over books themselves. There has never been a time that I have not waited at least 20-30 minutes before seeing the doctor. You sit in the waiting room for at least 10 minutes before they call you to a room where you sit there for who knows how long! I sat there for 40 minutes today before I realized I need to leave if Im going to make it to work on time. And its annoying because my appointment was 9:30am and youd think the earlier your appointment the better chance to get in and get out, but a quick appt is NEVER an option at this office. NEVER.
