Elam Biggs Bed & Breakfast

I love this old, historical building. It is big and beautiful. You can tell there has been a lot of TLC poured into this place. The back yard is full of history as well. The grounds are absolutely lovely. It's right across the street from delicious Diego's Chilean restaurant and just a short walk into downtown Grass Valley. Nearby activities: It is so close to downtown, where you can usually find a farmer's market, car show or other community activity. There is also the historic Del Oro theater and plenty of shopping. Also, try a pasty from Marshall's pasty shop on Mill Street!

Clean and cozy. Owners were very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful.

Stayed with two others in three separate rooms at the Elam Biggs BnB.  Quiet, delightful, friendly but not over-bearing.  The old house was very well decorated ... a mixture of period pieces, personal and whimsical.  The food was exceptional.  Really looking forward to making up a reason to stay there again!

Fun relaxing gardens, historical, beautiful home with the most entertaining and accommodating hosts. Short walk to shops restaurants, shows and only a mile from the famous Empire Mine. We came during cornish Christmas and both town and the home were beautifully decorated. Luckily they had an opening and it snowed a little during out stay. Meet great people and had great food. Absolutely wonderful trip.
