this guys is complete monstrosity. I told him i needed help reading contracts and that is why i was hiring a lawyer. i actually signed a contract without a 'time is the essence' clause. god knows how this will destroy me financially. he didn't bother reading the contract. he's not even good at even phoning it in. a complete monstrosity. stay clear. i had to give him one star to post this but i wouldn't even do that if i could.

Great experience as always working with Greg Shettle and his paralegal Debbie. Our family has used Greg Shettle for years. His representation and professionalism is second to none. Always up to speed on whats next in our transactions, keeping us on time and on track. Always has helpful suggestions and advice on things we sometimes arent aware we need to address. I would highly recommend having Greg represent you and your next real estate transaction and/or other areas of law.

Atty Shettle has done many closings for me and does a great job with both first time and experienced home buyers. Convenient office location and beautiful conference room with plenty of space for all parties. I can only speak to the real estate transactions but have had clients who have used his additional services for estates and wills. He does a great job explaining the transaction from start to finish especially the closing documents and numbers to those that are unfamiliar with them. I would reccomend Atty Shettle to anyone looking for a closing Atty for CT Real Estate and will continue to use him for all of my clients!

Attorney Shettle offers exceedingly professional and expedient legal support, while making his clients feel *personally* cared for. Shettle gives attention to detail you would expect of a sleepy towns boutique firm but manages to pair it with a level of quality and expertise paralleled only by large name firms in our cities. I have worked with many attorneys in a professional capacity & it is unusual for them and their staff to be so accessible and amenable. Somehow, Atty Shettle manages to gives his clients the white glove treatment,; never making us feel rushed, & that no question is foolish or bothering him. Not using legalese to talk over his clients, but rather speaking in laymans terms to ensure all are on the same page, you feel youre having a down to earth chat with a friend who is looking out for your best interests. From a 1-time document signing, to more advanced, fiscally elaborate legal needs, Attorney Shettle manages to offer the experience, knowledge & results of big box names, while showing clients he cares for us. We are not just a file in a cabinet he is churning out to send a bill. I uncharacteristically took the time to write this review because I personally believe strongly in the work he is doing, and the person - not just lawyer- that he is. Im sure if you find yourself needing his advisement, you will see what I mean and rest easy knowing you are protected and being advocated for. (Dont let his - amazing and fun!- location in downtown Glastonbury fool you; while you get the best service, it doesnt feel exclusive - he treats everyone equally.)
