Accent Pool/Spa Service LLC

Called accent pool service to look at my pool that had very little water flow and pool water was cloudy and patches of green algae. Explained to office that I had cleaned filters 4 or 5 times in the past 2 weeks to try to clear up the issue and was trying to get chemicals back in order. Jim came out while I wasn't home, diagnosed problem as clogged filters, cleaned filters and started pool up and told me to add 4lbs of TRICHLOR . Upon arriving home I found pool water flow was still terrible, called office and was advised to run pump, add chemicals and clean filters as needed. A couple days later after cleaning filters again and adding $75 in chemicals pool was still in terrible shape. Called an actual pool professional to look at pool after paying accent pool service $150. Another company showed up to look at pool and determined that filters were not my issue, I had a bad pool pump motor, and my water in the pool was in such terrible shape that I needed to drain it and refill (acids in pool were 4 times over the limit and chlorine would not hold/stay in pool with this condition) I replaced the pool pump motor, drained the pool and filled and added chemicals, immediately upon filling pool and running pump pool is in excellent condition amd working properly. Called accent to complain and office told me that I should have given them a chance to rectify the issue, I told the office that I thought that I had done that since I had made 2 calls to complain and was only told to keep running pool and adding chemicals. I asked why the water condition wasn't addressed and Jim told me that he wasn't called out to check my pool water condition he was called out to fix my pool problem. I was under the assumption that looking over the entire pool was what they were called out for and that again his diagnosis was obviously incorrect as after doing what the pool professional advised me to do the pool is now in excellent condition. I would not recommend accent pool service after this terrible experience and the terrible customer service as far as not being thorough and rude to myself as a customer.

The best!! Pump for my pool went out over the weekend. The guy that services my pool could not guarantee that he could get it fixed this week. I called Accent Pool n Spa on Monday. Jim came out, thoroughly checked the pump and determined that yes, i needed a new pump. (Which is what I was telling the man that services my pool for 2 or 3 weeks). Today is Thursday, and my pool is back in action. New pump plus Jim found and fixed a leak in one of the pipes, NO Charge!!! He didn't try to upsell anything. Just a great man and and will treat you fair!!

I have nothing but GOOD things to say about Accent Pools. Maryann and Jim are the best. Maryann was able to talk to Hayward Pools for me to get everything straightened out with the warranty issue, and Jim was here ON TIME unlike the other pool companies that I have had to deal with. He was able to diagnose the issue and have it up and running in no time. He was also able to show me a couple of things that the previous pool repair person had done wrong.... That explained a lot of things. It is so much EASIER to operate the panel when things are hooked up correctly. Thank you again, Jim and Maryann, I will hold on to your card / number forever.

I called Accent and spoke with Maryann. She was able to set up a that day appointment to service our pool. We have a short term rental and it's important to have everything in working order for our guests. Jim came out, reviewed our equipment and gave us some great feedback. I would highly recommend them!
