It was my lucky day! I was having difficulty figuring out how to use my loyalty points on the Port of Galveston's website when trying to book a parking reservation for an upcoming cruise. Out of desperation, I called the Parking & Ground Transportation phone number on the Port's website. To my amazement, I got a "live" customer service agent -- a perky, knowledgeable, and totally efficient Ms. Blanche Sheffield. In no time I was printing out my reservation, including my loyalty point credit. It was one of those moments that one truly appreciates someone who knows their job and offers exceptional, considerate service. You have a gem there Port of Galveston.

Called in to get clarification on the online reservation modification. Ms. Blanche affirmed my understanding and answered all of my questions. She also provided additional information on how long the process would take and what to do if I dont receive my refund. Thank you Ms. Blanche for your help!!!

Extra Kudos to Blanche Sheffield! For my first time parking at the cruise terminal, I had reserved a spot for my specific car identifying make, model and license tag. And then I hit some road debris on BW8 the set off all the airbags. The car is taking longer to get repaired than I had hoped and now need to drive to my cruise with a back up vehicle. But how do I make that change? Call Blanche! It is really great when you feel like you have a strange problem and the person on the other end of the line listens carefully, understands and then easily guides you back to the best way forward.
