I have been a customer of Red River Coop for more than five years since moving to Gunter. Daniel Downs always delivers my propane and backs the truck up perfectly down my very narrow driveway. Today, with all the flooding and a recent water leak, his back tire sunk in to my saturated gravel driveway and needed to be towed. He patiently waited a few hours for the tow truck to arrive was so kind and calm through the entire process even though I am sure it threw off his deliveries for the day. 5 Stars for Daniel and I really appreciate the customer service from Red River Coop and would highly recommend them.

September 9, 2023 I purchased $2,000 worth of fertilizer and used one of their spreaders. In the middle of spreading the fertilizer, one of the spinners on the spreader fell off, so only one side of the spreader was working properly; the other side was dumping fertilizer on the ground. I backtracked my spread pattern and found the spinner that had fallen off their spreader. I took the spreader back to the Red River Coop on Monday, September 11 and requested that they repair it, which they did. The Manager came out and accused me of bending a fender skirt. I told him the only way that could have been bent was to back up the spreader, and I never backed it up. He continued to accuse me of damaging the spreader, and I told him he was diverting attention from his failed equipment rather than simply getting me back to spreading my fertilizer. I asked him to replace the fertilizer that his failed equipment had spilled on the ground. He refused and told me to unhook from the spreader and leave. I told him that I wasn't happy with his attitude and his accusations and refusal to replace fertilizer which his failed equipment had spilled on the ground was no way to treat people. The Red River Coop will shut its doors within 5 years under this manager. It's a shame because I lover everything else about the place.

Zero stars if possible. This is probably the worst propane company in the area. They have the rudest and most disrespectful employees I have encountered in a while. Our family has been customers of theirs for a very long time, but apparently they literally care nothing about keeping customers or about people in general. During the recent freezing weather, we ran out of propane ( which my husband admitted was our fault) and we paid for them to refill our tank. Apparently they took offense to my husband calling to see approximately when they would deliver because we have two toddlers and a newborn. The lady working there was incredibly rude to my husband every time he called and wouldn't give him any info. The last time he called he became frustrated with her attitude and she became offended and told him they were going to come and take our propane tank and that we were no longer their customers. Even when we called again and apologized and explained we have 3 babies without heat and asked to find another solution, every employee we talked to was extremely rude and refused to listen. So basically, if anyone with their company gets their feelings hurt or just wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, they will treat you like dirt and cancel your service at the drop of a hat, even if it means leaving your babies with no heat. Moral of the story: Spare yourself and your family and find literally any other propane company.
