        I had an account with Key Bank years ago, so I decided to open a new one when I moved back to the States. Tara Waters helped me find the right accounts for me and was extremely friendly. When I had trouble with my Key Bank App, Jill Allen did all the leg work with customer service to get my app unlocked and linked to the new accounts. She was extremely friendly through the whole process, which was tedious and time consuming, but she got the results we needed. I really appreciate the help of both of these employees!

        Theyll charge you nearly $8 to cash a $25 birthday check from the same bank. Worst bank Ive ever been to.

        They hold payments for 5 days at a time. Whether you put cash in your account or deposit a check or return an online purchase 6 hours after ordering it and both the seller and PayPal state the return happened that same day, 5 days later and it listed as pending. And nobody knows anything to help and forget the app, you cant even contact anyone for help. Same day checking has passed by this bank. What a joke. Edit 3/25/2023 For some reason I'm still with this bank, and tonight the feature to deposit cash isn't operational. Convenient as an unexpected bill pulled me into overdraft this morning. Which is normally no biggie because I'll just deposit cash to cover it. After a 12 hour day at work 40 minutes away, and the only Keybank within 30 miles is this one, are you kidding me? I hate this bank. Seriously 1/2/2024 I hate this bank. Hold my new job check for 7 days but not tell me til after I've deposited it through the mobile app. And call them? There's nothing we can do. Oh good, I have rent and a car payment due. But thanks for being stuck in the dark ages. Never again. Next check is going to anywhere but Key.
