        I adopted an English Mastiff who is extremely timid and afraid of everything. Because I need to take her to the vet, I hired John to show me the best way to get her into my truck without traumatizing her. John´s solution was to pick her up even though I am a petite senior and cannot lift her. I did learn that she can jump into the truck but since John did not direct her to the back seat, she got stuck and trying to get her out only traumatized her more. When I tried to get her in on my own, John did not give any instructions to help so the training ended negatively; it should have been a POSITIVE outcome. This horrific experience has left my dog more fearful making it more difficult for me to get her into my truck.
