In 2007, I hired Serrano Fence (then based in Freeport, NY) on recommendation of a neighbor. The job was to replace a rotted retaining wall and fence. The fence was a straight run along level ground, about 60 feet. Prior to work commencing, I insisted posts be held in place with cement, below the frost line - at least 36" - preferably 42" to prevent heaving and leaning. Serrano agreed. Even so, I had to remind his workers during the job to adhere to this requirement. This fence should have lasted at least 20 years. About 5-7 years ago it began to lean. Then one section fully leaned over onto a nearby shed - around 2019/2020. Today, a different company is replacing the fence. Upon their dismantling of the existing (Serrano-installed) fence, the installers today showed me that no cement was used for posts. None. Do not use this company. Service: Vinyl fence installation

Highly recommend Serrano Fence to anyone who is looking to improve the look of their property and not be concerned with the installation process. Amadeo is extremely professional, friendly and well educated with his products. I just love my new 6 foot wood fence, changed the whole look of my yard. Installers were friendly and clean and fast, couldn't believe they carried all sections, dug holes, removed debris and were done in few hours, they definitely know what they are doing. I have a property on the Island that we needed PVC fences on both sides of the home to be done. Without hesitation after they left and finished the job I came on here to give them the best review that I possibly could - they deserve it. Not only are they very kind, respectful, polite and all around the nicest people, they are the most professional company we have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They came on time exactly when they said they would, they got straight to work and it was the most professional fence work I have ever personally seen. They were so friendly the entire day and were very respectful to the property, sidewalk, and our neighboring properties. They were beyond clean, they did an outstanding after clean up job I was beyond impressed. When they were all done they made sure every inch of both fences were perfect and spotless and that it was all what we wanted. 5 STARS ***** for this fence company. I was very happy with the end result of my fence installation by Serrano Fence. I am a retired carpenter and I was impressed with the custom vinyl gates that were installed on either side of my home. The hardware is top notch, and the quality of the installation was great. They also installed about 70 feet of double sided wooden picket fence in the rear of my yard that bordered a neighbor. It also was installed perfect. The workers were hard at work all day, along with their crew leader, who was a pleasure to communicate with. Amadeo the owner of the company came to my house, was very pleasant, and gave me an estimate that was very fair. All work was done in one day with excellent cleanup afterwards.
