Fine Lines provided up front scope and design support based upon their understanding of what we wanted for the finished product along with their experience and assessment of the existing configuration. We were thrilled with the suggestions provided and the comprehensive, detailed work scope, project tracking and contractual agreement presented. It was fascinating to watch the execution from tear down, discovery and construction. The craftsmen were professional, personable and a pleasure to have in our home. I can not give enough positive feedback for Fine Lines! From the very first consultation and design meetings, straight through our extensive renovation every single employee was a high quality professional with a strong work ethic and talent for exceptional building, in every aspect. Our project manager Ben was available to answer every question I had, fixed every problem that arose, and was always several steps ahead of every part of the process. Considering we underwent this project at the beginning of the pandemic, Bens planning and management kept things running very smoothly with almost seamless transitions from one aspect to the next. I was blown away by the crew as well-very fine people with integrity and exceptional skills. I cant imagine a better building experience. Fine Lines handled everything from structural renovation, including foundation and framing to flooring, roofing and outstanding finish work. Id interviewed several builders before choosing Fine Lines, the prices were only slightly varied. In the end, Finelines estimates were realistic, fair, and we managed to come out slightly under budget! Thanks to everyone, Ted, Ben, and Jeff our foreman and all the guys who turned our house into a very special, gorgeous forever home! As an employee of Fine Lines Construction in Freeport, Maine, my review comes from an "inside" perspective. I haven't used their services to build or renovate a home, but I am witness first-hand to the professionalism, quality, thoughtfulness, and pride that goes into what they do for their clients. Of course, working with their clients is where it starts and where it ends, and everything in between is spent working with them - listening to their desires, being honest with them about what to expect, and of course, finishing up by having built a beautiful, quality home. I think that it goes without saying that working at Fine Lines is like a breath of fresh air! The employees are well respected, paid very well, and "taken care of" in a way that is rarely found in many companies anymore. I feel very blessed and fortunate to be part of this great team!
