I have worked for BHP for close to 10 years and this is an excellent place to work. The passion that my colleagues have for treating their clients with respect, dignity, and compassion makes this a place I can call home. In a highly regulated world where clinicians have to follow so many protocols for State and Federal requirements BHP strives to meet these standards while not losing the reason we all come to work every day...to provide excellent care because we value what we do and who we care for!  Outside of the excellent clinical staff we have dedicated leadership and administrative support teams who work passionately every day to serve this same common goal!

I don't know the quality of the psychiatrists, since I tried for over two weeks to get an appointment as a new patient.  The answering message stated the I should allow THREE BUSINESS DAYS to get my call returned. One message asked for a good time to call, I gave it to the machine, and no call during that timeframe, just other call backs that I could not answer as I was at work. With every returned call, I got that same rather insulting message and the caution that subsequent messages could DELAY their response (?). I ended up giving up trying to get them to see me for severe depression (which they had made worse...). This is a callous and careless way to treat people with behavioral heath problems.Addendum: I recently got a message to call them "if I still wanted an appointment". Absolutely no way. I do not recommend this group, but as it is so difficult to get an appointment, it's probably a moot point.
