POM MRI & Radiology Center of Fort Lauderdale

I called POM to make appointment for an X-ray about 2 weeks ago. After waiting on hold for an unreasonably long time, I hung up and tried to make appointment online. They never called me to schedule my online appointment request. So I called my dr and told them that I wasnt able to schedule an appointment with POM so they reached out to POM for me to help me get an appointment. POM finally called me today to schedule (2 weeks after I sent them an online scheduling request). After I thought I was finally scheduled with POM, they text me my appointment confirmation that was for the wrong time. I tried calling POM to correct their error but was on hold forever again. So I hung up, called Baptist Health, and had my appointment set competently. Stay away from POM unless you have a very long time to wait on hold on the phone and are patient in dealing with their scheduling errors

Robert was the best!!!! He explained everything and made sure you were comfortable and put on your favorite music. Defiantly made getting and MRI a good experience!!!

The staff here are caring and compassionate. They take the time to explain the procedure step by step and answer any questions you have. Ive been here for a mammogram and ultrasound previously and had my first MRI today (Robert was awesome). However, dealing with their billing or records teams is really difficult. Only solution to getting what you need is to physically go into the office and wait for them to print it out. Still trying to work to get my insurance to pay for the service because of weird multi-provider billing from POM MRI and the providers they outsource to.

I'm as claustrophobic as you can get so more than nervous about my MRI. Met with Robert who was super friendly and got me in within minutes of my appointment. My anxiety went down right away...the MRI was pretty wide and open, took less time than I thought, so all good!! Thank you for a great experience!!

scheduling was a nightmare, as was trying to get a hold of a person, my doctor had to contact them multiple times. HOWEVER, once i arrived at the location, the staff was helpful and accommodating. Robert, the tech, was incredibly pleasant and made me feel comfortable.
