Will never recommend them. After telling us that they will take care of everything. They call us and say my father cannot get cremated until after Memorial Day and would need to be embalmed (something forbidden in my culture and religion). They said it's because their crematory is so busy and will not be able to handle another cremation before Memorial Day. Horrible horrible horrible!!!! Imagine hearing such a thing about your loved one while you're dealing with their loss. The only way they said they would be able to do it is if we do a direct cremation that they were charging over 2k for. These people are thieves! Please don't trust them. We lost 2 days because of these heartless people. Finally we were able to find someone lovely who take care of my dad the way I wanted.

I cannot say enough thank you to Jamie. L. Jamie was so kind, respectful and sincere. When my sister and I experienced poor service at the cemetery, he took extra steps by calling the site. he was always listening, compassionate and gentle. The man had a big heart. Thank you so much Jamie for helping us with our father. You showed so much compassion for my family and I am forever grateful for your service.

I would give it negative stars if possible. the people that run the place are DIRTY CHEATS! they RUINED the funeral and LIE through their teeth!

Words can not really express how grateful my brothers, Sister & I are for Edward D Jamie Funeral Chapel . This review is for what Miguel and the staff did for us when my Father passed away a few months back During this terrible Pandemic . Miguel was accessible to answer questions at various times in the day. He was able to provide a clear understanding of pricing and offerings. We were not pressured to get things done although we were pressed for time.Miguel took care of my Father like he was a loving member of his family. They kept his body preserved until  cremation. There is so much to do when a loved one passes away. They took a brunt of the stress by helping us with the arrangements for my father.Thank you so much , God Bless Sending positive energy & strength your way .

It's a tough time for all with a sudden passing of a beloved family member. Having to plan a funeral while you are coping with the loss is extremely hard but with the help of Edward D Jamie Funeral Services, it made the process so much easier. My uncle passed very suddenly and we were thrown into the funeral process that needed to be planned within two days. After many deliberations with family members, we went with Jamie's, confident we were in great hands.From the start, Funeral Director Miguel Hwang helped us with patience and kindness, letting us know about the different options and helping us plan a process that was best for our family. No matter how many times we texted or called, he always answered us kindly and let us know that he was there to help out with anything that he can. The short planning process definitely had to be hard for him as well but he made sure that everything was seamless. We didn't realize how many steps had to be taken from the time my uncle was taken from the hospital to the good hands of Jamie's staff to the burial, but Miguel calmly and thoroughly explained everything to us to ensure that we understood.My uncle looked so serene and at peace that I know Miguel had taken the extra care to help us feel at ease.By the end of the process, Miguel felt like family with how much effort and compassion he showed to us all. I would recommend Jamie's Funeral Services and Miguel to anyone, knowing they will be in good hands during a tough time.
