I visited the old Kilby building (behind Wesleyan Hall) recently. It brought back many great memories of my years at Kilby (1956-1962). I feel that every child in this country should have the opportunity for a Kilby-level education. Can you imagine how much better our collective critical thinking skills would be if this was the reality? Thank you to our educators and mentors: Miss Lowry (1st), Mrs. Cox (2nd), Miss Miller (3rd), Miss Lewis (4th), Mrs. Adams (5th), Mrs. Smith (6th), Mr. Graham (Principal), and Mrs. Quinby (head cook). They provided a phenomenal foundation for our lives, and instilled a joy for learning that lasts a lifetime.
