Staff was helpful and friendly. Dr. Annamaneni was competent and compassionate. My wife was anxious and he worked her into his surgery schedule much sooner than we anticipated. After a successful laparoscopic gallbladder removal, he informed the husband of findings. He called as soon as the biopsies were available setting our minds at ease. Again, realizing we wanted to make a trip, he worked us in early for our post-operative appointment. We highly recommend Dr. Annamaneni.

In June of 2023 I was taken to the emergency room at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and was sent for emergency surgery right away. What a blessing it was to have Dr. Winters as my surgeon. I have never felt that any physician cared about my well-being more than Dr. Winters. After leaving the hospital 3 months later, she continued with this professional but caring attitude towards me. I could only pray that anyone who ends up with the problems that I had would find themselves in the hands of Dr. Winters.
I would also like to say that all of the staff members at Ferncreek General Surgery were outstanding.

Honestly this is the worst place Ive ever been to receive treatment. The African American lady always has snarky remarks when being asked a question. This is the 2nd time theyve rescheduled an appointment for me and didnt notify me before I arrived. Apparently their doctor is on call at the hospital so she couldnt take any of her patients and they have to be rescheduled. If the office opens and 8 and my appointment isnt scheduled until 9:20 why wasnt I notified beforehand. I will be not be coming back as this place lacks professionalism and has poor time management skills.

I not happy with the experience from this dr. office. i went in for a consultation about my esoghagus and was told i needed reflux surgery , then i had a appointment and the dr. told me to eat smaller and exercise i waited for ove a week to see if was put on the schedule for surgery and never was. Come to find out the dr. said she told me to lose 20lbs I was never told that and I am very upset right now because I have days where I can barely swallow and she telling me to lose weight I am 5'11 and weight 222 lbs and I'm overweight that is crazy to me . I am seeking another opinion becaue my acid is a very severe case and this dr seems to not put her patients first I will not refer anyone here.
