PLEASE BEWARE- I met with Jeff (owner  of MPC Plumbing) at my house for a complete boiler replacement job on (18AUG2020). He gave me a quote and stated it would be a 2-day job with 2 people and he would start the next day after I placed half payment as a deposit. He did come out on (19AUG2020) with someone and the new boiler was delivered. I gave him a key to my house since it was vacant and I trusted he would get the job done without having to hover over them all day. I didn't hear from him until (25AUG2020) when he text me stating the boiler had no electricity going to it. I hired an electrician to check it out and shockingly there was electricity, he failed to look at the switch labeled "Boiler Switch" which was right on the wall right by the boiler. I messaged him and said there's electricity. No response. On (31AUG2020) I messaged him on status and he said there's still work needing done. On (04SEP2020) I asked if the job was complete and he said "yes - need to get the old boiler out of there". Since (19AUG2020) the old boiler was sitting in the middle of my driveway- stripped of parts. I hired someone to remove the 300+ pound piece of metal from my property on (06SEP2020). Besides the length of time and lack of communication, leaving a stripped boiler on my driveway, and having me hire an electrician for no reason, what else could go wrong? Jeff tried taking advantage of my lack of knowledge on boilers. They had put the old burner on the new boiler while pocketing the new burner (worth $600+) and charging me for it! I left town to be with my husband serving overseas, so my mom and dad were to update me on the payment for completion since Jeff never answered my calls before I left. He met with my mom for payment and she asked if he put all new parts- he said yes. When he was called out for taking the new burner he offered to hand it over. We came to an agreement on price adjustment and I paid him the remainder I owed as I thought he should get paid for the work he did do with the parts he provided. Come to find out- I paid him by check on (09OCT2020) and on (10OCT2020) the boiler wasn't working! My realtor called him to fix it and he stated he wouldn't hold his 1-yr warranty since I owed him money. I have the invoice showing complete payment and he never stated it was void warranty. I end up having someone else come out and he said it was "the most ass-backwards install he ever seen." Pipes and valves were all wrong and I had to hire another company to fix the boiler for a hefty bill. Thankfully I placed a stop payment on my check or I would have been out of thousands more on top of the thousands I spent fixing his mess up. He says he has 30-years plus experience but damn he messed this up bad and showed no remorse for the damage he could have done to my house as winter approached. No form of integrity and poor quality work. He talked down on the bigger known companies in Fairbanks but I guarantee they're more professional and reliable than he will ever be. I have picture and video proof so he can not deny any of this.

The only way some can judge a company is by the job they do. we recently moved back from Anchorage to retire on the ancestral lands of my wife , with basement of stacked boxes we decided to install radiant heat, called these people for a bid ,man came out looked what we had said no problem work around it , the young man sent out was rude ,crude and socially very mouthy about every thing ,us ,work ,employer himself , also very sloppy worker , last straw was with out asking us to move clothes on dryer (my other son was doing uniforms ) being deployed in few days .. threw on the floor cover some sort of mess then walked all over them ..I called told owner Jeff Masters what happened(that man was not welcome here ) with out hint of apology he quit and likely good thing from what heard from others .. plus the job was never inspected Jeff laying of lines in ceiling there were some mistakes found going to have to be partly redone .. Go else where any where else period am in process of rebidding being much more careful this time ..

We recently moved back here( North pole )  from Anchorage to retire , called these people to do Radiant Heat warning them might have to do some shuffling  as basement is full , Jeff Masters( owner who did the bid )  said No problem well the young man he sent out did nothing but complain ,boy what a mouth derogatory remarks about every thing including ,boss job us etc .. last straw was when took my sons clean uniforms on dryer (did not ask us to move them ) threw them on the floor walked stomped all over (he's being deployed Sunday (8/25/19) told Jeff Masters owner was not welcome here any more .. so he quits the job no hint of apology or any thing else .. worker was sloppy as well so am glad he's gone .. would NOT hire this company if promised to wipe my behind with clean paper.. Go elsewhere ...
