I have lived here for 2 years, and when I first moved in the building had very poor management. The units were dirty, in disrepair, and management was largely apathetic to resident concerns.
However, TLC management took over the building in 2023 and had not only fixed the problems left behind by previous management, but he also proactively works to provide new amenities, events, and various other improvements.

Mike is the absolute best building manager the building has ever had. He has made The Scholar a better place to live at and these little details such as bagels on a random morning go a long way.

This is a great place in central Evanston. Mike (the building manager) is extremely hands on and resourceful. Im happy to live here.

Throughout my 15-month lease at Scholar Evanston, I've had a truly wonderful experience. A special shout-out to Property Manager Mike Murphy, who has done an exceptional job and provided unwavering support throughout my lease.
In fact, during my lease, Mikes company took over the building from another company, and Mike's patience and professionalism were beyond what I could have asked for as taking over a building is difficult.
