Popped in this morning for shower due to the power loss in town. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the lady's name at the desk when I signed in at 747a but SHE IS FABULOUS! Very friendly, she let me babble on about my new house were moving into in January! She's really great! Thank you all for offering that service!!

It's a decent YMCA. The showers have a really hard time warming up and when they kids get out after swimming class there is no hot water.

I in rolled my Daughter in the summer camp program this summer. ( 2023 )On the 1st day they asked that I dont bring her back. She has Down syndrome and is pretty high functioning maybe the equivalent to a 6 year old child.
But they didnt give a chance to get to know her . Their excuse was we dont have qualified staff to deal with your special needs child . Ruin this kids whole summer.
If they could not care for my daughter then they have no business taking care of any one elses child there is absolutely no difference Shes a bit slower than the average kid because she has down syndrome but no difference.
The 2nd concern was they were scared of her by the lake . This means the kids are all running around with no kind of structure . Otherwise there would not be a concern, if the children were being engrossed & occupied In different activities.
There would absolutely be no concern about anybody being around the lake unattended.
