Sonoita Vineyards

Very disappointed. We purchased a bottle of BuddyD's Zin Gio Ve last October 2022 while first time wine tasting in the Sierra Vista area. Wanted to see what Arizona wines were like. Put this bottle it in our Wine cooler and when we got back down to Arizona 3 months later (this week) the bottle had lost it's cork. Wine ran down into the electronic temp board of our Vino Temp and what a mess. In all of years of collecting and traveling all over the world we have never had a cork completely leave the bottle. It was stored absolutely correctly. Arizona wines are priced too high and so are the tasting fees for what you get....or in this case don't get.

Cool place for wine tasting, they give you a tree glass to remember the experience. Kind of desolate and isolated.

We stopped here on an unplanned detour and what a great experience! Our host was so personable and friendly, and really knowledgeable about the wines and the history of the area and the vineyard. The wines were very good - we liked them so much we bought three bottles! I highly recommend stopping here.
