I have been trying to contact these people for a month now about paying my last bill and also getting the water turned off and out of my name at a rent house I am no longer renting. No one will call me back. I've left voicemail after voicemail. I even left a letter in their mailbox, which I know they got because when I called their old number, they had changed the voicemail message (it hadn't been changed since September 2020, but they finally changed it in January 2021) I've called the county judge and have been given other numbers to call. But either they won't answer or they just give me other numbers to call. This is no way to run a business. Somebody else needs to take over the Old Union Public Water Authority because Daniel Downey and his wife, or whoever else helps him, are not doing their job! You're supposed to get your deposit back when you turn the water off, which I believe is the reason they're not contacting me, because they are keeping the deposits. DO NOT RENT OR BUY A HOME IN THIS AREA IF YOU CAN HELP IT!!

My mother passed away on the 27th of August 2020. I have been calling AND leaving messages BEGGING almost on a daily basis for someone to phone me back. Until this day 28 September 2020 not a soul has responded. This is a very sad way to do business. When you call, there's a really long announcement one is forced to listen to, until it's very end--no push 1 if you want this, or push 2 if you want . . . , no you have to hear the entire message, then leave a message to which NO ONE will hear or react. SMH
