Disappointed with this purchase. Ordered an 8lb ribeye roast for Christmas dinner. Very specific that I wanted ribeye roast, not prime rib. I received what I believe to be a very fatty prime rib roast. What should have been a meaty cap turned out to be almost 100% fat. Also a lot of thick fat deposits more common in prime rib. Everyone agreed that this roast had much, much more fat than prime rib roasts weve had in the past.

The people who run this store are fantastic and on the ball. The pork, beef are the best tasting we have ever tasted! Everyone we give meat to also agrees. LOVE Country home meats!

I get all my fat for the tallow I use in my soaps and candles here. I also have bought steaks and the flavor is out of this world. As close to farm to table as a city person can get. See entire cattle be dropped off in the am and then massive amounts of meat being picked up in the evening. Superior quality. If you are looking for something hard to find- liver, brains or tongue, I'm sure they can get it.
