Nicole did a great job cleaning my teeth and Dr. Matthews was very good in explaining a potential tooth problem down the road. Nicole was filling in for Pam who couldn't be in today. Waiting for the doctor to come in, we had a great chat about our families. Everyone at Fabey Dental is personable and professional. Dr. Mark Fabey should be very proud of the people who work with him in making Fabey Dental the outstanding dental practice in Northampton County.

I have new insurance and was naive enough to think that they would verify participation and plan options prior to servicing me. They did just that but did not tell me they didn't participate in my plan until I checked out, and handed a $453 bill for not only services needed, but recommended. Mind you I specifically said I'll opt for it if it was covered and I said it twice. So now Im looking like a deer caught in headlights and asked her why wasn't I made aware before I was seen. She tells me they just got a response. I asked her if she could invoice me and she said any balance has to be paid in full at time of service. Now, almost in tears I pull out my card, pay the bill and run out before I fully start crying. I went home, called my insurance company and asked her if any verification was made, and it was. It was made by someone by the name of Eliza at 9:39 AM! My appt was at 9:30 and I was in the lobby for, at least 10 mins! And even if longer, verification wasn't concluded an hr later when I checked out so thats a big fat lie! I went back to speak to the office manager but according to the receptionist she wasn't in. Then grilled me on what I needed to speak to the manager for. Conversation wasn't horrible but I did not get a sense of empathy or sincerity. It was more like protocol and scripted. I wouldn't be shocked if she's a family member to this Easton "Famous" practice because she looked and behaved well-to-do. Convo ended with her telling me that the manager will call me that following Monday. That was this past Monday on 3/11 and today is 3/14. With how they handled everything else I wasn't expecting a call but I figured Id give them a few days to prove me wrong. So thats what brings me here. So maybe I can help someone else. Not all companies practice in good faith anymore and this one is a prime example. They are more concerned about having you walk out and losing a buck rather than informing you. I was STUPID and should have called to verify myself but lesson learned. Ill take my share in responsibility for that, but Im not unprofessional, dishonest, nor do I take advantage of hard working people. Thats all Fabey Dental and staff. So if you are still looking to come here because of the 5 star reviews, just be prepared to get a number of recommendations and if you don't want to be surprised with an invoice call your insurance company yourself (even if its right in the middle of your appt).

Very good experience. I arrived really really nervous and left feeling so much better. Everyone was so very nice and encouraging. The dentist was very calming and answered all my questions.
