We have dealt with Henry and his team on 3 different times for tree trimming and one tree removal.  They do a complete job on clean-ip as well as great work shaping the trees.

Henry did a great job replacing part of my sprinkler system and grading/adding landscaping by my mailbox and in a front planter. Everything looks so much better now, and the sprinkler system functions better, too! Henry and his crew were super easy to work with, came through on all promises, and were upfront about all costs (which were totally reasonable for the work done). Henry's also very knowledgable about plants (drought tolerant and otherwise) and helped me pick just the right selection. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Henry did an excellent job installing our new fountain - see attached photo. He called me back the same day after I left a message, and agreed to come look at my house on a Sunday morning. He came exactly on time, is friendly and nice to work with. The fountain is over 1000 pounds which he managed to transport here and position in the right place. His price is fair and he is very responsible. Due to my travel schedule, Henry kindly moved his other projects around to do my job early. While we were out away, there was an issue that Henry promptly took care of after my phone call. I am glad to find him and will use him for other landscaping projects.

We had a fantastic experience with Henry and his team at H&M landscaping.  We had recently bought a new-construction house, and the backyard was a blank slate (just dirt!).  We had a general idea of what we wanted done in the backyard (planters along the fences and a pergola patio area), and Henry came to us and he had some great ideas of his own.  It was obvious from the beginning that Henry had the best experience and he was the right choice for the job.  Our new house is part of an HOA, and the HOA required us to obtain a building permit from the City of Glendora in order to build the pergola.  Henry dealt with the City on the building permit process, and he professionally handled the challenges that the City threw at us.  Henry did both sides of our backyard -- one side of the yard was mainly done as hardscape and surrounded by planters, and the other side was done with grass and stepping stones that led to a pergola patio area.  He convinced us to use "broken concrete" instead of pavers, as he said that we could get the "southwest" look of the stones that we were looking for at less cost with the concrete than pavers.  We were really happy with the result, and it looked better than we had hoped.  We are attaching some "Before and After" photos to our review.This was a large project, and it took quite some time.  Henry was great to work with and he put a lot of effort into making sure the job was done right.  After everything was done, there were some issues with a sprinkler and a couple of the plants after the job was completed, and Henry rushed right over to fix it.  He really stands behind his work.  We would work with H&M again in a heartbeat.

Soooo... our newly purchased home flooded and we immediately knew we needed better drainage.  Henry came and installed a channel drain in the backyard and three basins on our side yard.  The project didn't end there! We discovered the main source of the problem! So, we eliminated that issue! And, if we were putting in drains, we needed a vision for concrete and landscaping.  Eventually, we turned the entire area into an amazing landscape with laid brick steps and cool rock cement.  There is still some work to be done, but it has rained twice and no flooding has occurred.  We will definitely be using H & M in the future.  We have several more projects since we just bought the house.  On a personal note, Henry is super fun to work with.  I asked him to allow me to be his right hand instead of hiring his own people.  I love learning and it was great exercise!  We worked side by side for days and he is super funny, ethical and down to earth, and fun.  His prices were very reasonable.
