I don't see how you can "misplace" multiple (3 to be exact) trespass records. On top of that, to receive a call about a trespassing customer for the 4th time and refuse to believe the establishment that called because of your lack of organization? And to have to rely on the employees of said establishment for the previous trespass records is not only unprofessional, but quite embarrassing on the P.Ds end. Do better.

I have the utmost respect for this police department. I have lived in Dover for over 2 years now. I feel safe, and I trust the Dover PD. I have always had great interactions with these professional and hardworking folks. Thank you and great work!!!

Our neighbors wrote a post detailing a premeditated attack on my girlfriend who has a traumatic brain injury. She ended up with 8 staples and a fractured skull, after the attack. Continuing to have seizures from the incident. Dover police department said that they could not protect her, by giving her an emergency restraining order. They stated that because it was not spousal in nature that the law didn't apply. We share the only egress and live across from each other. How about an emergency civil restraining order then? Nobody was arrested and she is unprotected until Tuesday .I will be calling the chief then. I have already called family attorney as well as a local police station , and they stated that they are liable, and did not want to help us to get protection. If someone touches her again Dover p.d. is liable and they will be sued for this civily because of their noncompliance and failure to protect and serve. They came a second time for a subsequent attack, a black 300 lb. male slapped my sister, then attacked my girlfriend who was released early from her injuries of a fractured skull, and 8 staples. Needless to say he took a tumble down the stairs, he's lucky that is all he got ...The black man said he had a gun, however nobody was once again arrested. The chief will be notified tomorrow, our attorneys have already been notified.

I live in NC. My best friend lives in NH. I could not reach her so I called the Dover PD. The dispatcher and the responding officer were very kind and polite. The situation was resolved and ended well. Many kudos to the Dover PD!
