The best time I had in 5 years. I came with two of my old colleagues and we really enjoyed ourselves. The grass was freshly cut, everyone was so nice and kind. The people behind us was quiet and patiently waiting for their turn. I will be returning soon. Thanks for a great time.

Wow. West Pines is an awesome layout. So MANY cool holes. Nearly every hole could be a signature hole at other courses.
The course has really cool holes. Lots of hitting downhill and uphill. My home course is considered hilly, and its an airport compared to West Pines. If youre going to walk this course, think twice about.
My ONLY knock of this place is its 18 holes that doesnt come back to the clubhouse. So theres no real way to get out for a quick 9 on foot. And theres really no jumping out the back. In other words, when you choose to walk the front 9, and realize its way too hard, its a LONG walk into the clubhouse to get a cart for the back.
Greens are in great shape. They are slower than other places this time of year, March, but Im sure they can get speedy in the summer. Bunkers are in great shape. More than a few blind shots, but I dont recall any blind shots into greens.
Ill be playing here every round I can while Im in the greater Atlanta area.
