For Parkland BHU, but specifically Judah Weathers who doesnt deserve the title MD. Noticed that for the last 2 days I was there I had been getting worse, so he stated I was ready to go home (make that make sense). Then when he found out I had self harmed he didnt pull me into a room to ask about it, nor did he ask how I was, he asked me in a hall way next to a group room (that was full of other patients - 3 of which came up and told me they heard what he said) and then he asked are you THAT desperate to stay in a psych ward? It wasnt even his words that stung so badly, but the face he made at me. I went there for help. For the first time in my life, and he stripped me of that. I filed complaints and asked if the unit supervisor would speak to me. No conversation was had. I guess we wait and see what the Board of Mental Health has to say because it doesnt look like Im the first to have a run in with Judas. I mean Judah. Do better, Parkland.

Went with my son today emergency department as he had bad pain in his left front belly and his left back, he was in so much pain he was vomiting . In my mind, I thought it was perhaps a kidney stone, which he never had one before. They did blood test and CAT scan CAT scan confirmed he had a kidney stone. They gave him a pain medication while in the hospital and an IV for fluid hydration. Sent him home with ibuprofen for a Kidney Stone!!! two hours after medication wearied off he was on the kitchen floor in pain again. Called parkland Hospital for Dr. Dix, The doctor stated he would call in a pain prescription for him . Three hours later we called the hospital and hes gone for the night ,He totally forgot about my son and the pain he was in. In addition, didnt document anything in the chart about him calling in the prescription and then they want him to come back and do all the test all over again. For someone that doesnt take medication to be keeled over in pain and cant get any pain medication, because of all the junkies in the world. these doctors need to do a better job, where are their assessment skills? same thing happened to my husband at the same hospital when he had pancreatitis. Shame on them.!!!
