Cook's Pond is a fun place to relax. There are experienced lifeguards that provide a safe place to swim. The water gradually deepens without any sudden drop-off. Parking is convenient.
The water was warm. The kids loved playing on the sandy beach, playing in the water, and floating in their life vests.

It's a lovely lake, more than a pond, swimming, fishing, a trail around the lake, slow drop-off so relatively safe, but exercise caution as always.
