I highly regret doing business with this company. Our house had catastrophic water damage after a supply line broke when we were not home. Belfor (Contractor was Kevin M.) repaired almost our entire house while we moved out. It is now 2.5 years since the repair work and since we moved back into our home, and the very poor work quality and cut corners are coming through in everything they did. They cut many corners that we must now deal with (at a large expense). They put only a thin layer of finish on the main level wood floor and it is wearing through, the carpet upstairs is rippling in all of the rooms, the paint on all of the walls has been extremely thin....I could go on and on with all of the issues. We chose Belfor as the company to rebuild our home after a fire the week before Christmas 2021. Kevin showed up the next day and before getting down to business he told us how sorry he was that we were going through all of heartbreak and uncertainty of a fire but assured us that we WOULD get our home back. He explained how the company works, other projects they have completed, how the contractors are brought in, and what we could expect. Kevin Mansfield and Mike Smith have walked us through every step of the way. The contractors they sent out were top notch. If there was an issue with something not being quite right or not working properly, Kevin and Mike were on the ball getting the contractor back out promptly to get it resolved. There was one contractor in particular that always went above and beyond in his work, James. This young mans attention to detail was amazing! We are now back in our home and loving every bit of it. We are ready to make new memories to add on to the memories we had before the fire. We lost alot but we gained far more through the wonderful help of Belfor. What a blessing you all have been to us! I had a house fire a number of years ago. Thankfully nobody was hurt. However the damage to the home was extensive- Complete with Asbestos contamination, which meant gutting the home down to the studs and building back out. I had some changes made for the remodel compared to original design. they had great suggestions, connections to professionals, and made an unbearable process and life event less terrible. To top it off, my home was built in 1950 and there was some uniqueness to an addition that was put on somewhere in between then and when i owned it. They fixed a few issues that were there from before. I did have one legging issues a couple years later. I had brought them out and together they helped me with the solution. Even though it was past the warranty of their work, they acknowledged that something could have been called out at that time even though they had filed the instructions from insurance adjuster exactly. So they helped me on the cost of that. I can't speak highly enough about this team. Quality of craftmanship, compassion for what I was going through and absolutely loved the finished product.
