I really don't understand the negative reviews for this business.  I have been dealing with Metro Camera for at least 20 years (from the time they had the shop up on S. Federal Blvd) and I have never had a problem.  I lost track of them for a while, took my cameras to other shops and really found out what lousy repairs and poor customer service were all about.  Once there was a mix-up with my telephone number (shortly after I moved and gave up an old land line) but a quick call to Metro and we got that straightened out (the repair had been finished and was just waiting for me).  When I first went digital they could have gouged me several times but instead showed me mistakes I was making with settings and sent me on my way, no charge. I am taking in a camera today for repairs and if anything has changed I will update this review.  Right now I bring my camera problems to them with the highest confidence.

Looks like this place is shut down or out of business... Phone number is not valid, and building is empty.

This place was horrible. I came here to drop off my Camera and some blonde lady came out yelling at me and telling me to go park my truck in the ghetto apartments that are near by. So I moved my truck up a few blocks to Englewood Camera and Photo, and let them handle my business.

I had a simple problem with my camera, I brought it here, and they were able to fix it for me.
