We used Bonnie Brae travel to book a cruise.   Everything went perfectly as planned.  Will use them again for our next cruise.

Jean was terrific and made my trip to Jamaica with my family very easy.  I was going to look for packages online, but I was referred to Jean by a relative.  Dealing with a person is much easier and someone as nice as Jean made it pleasant.

As a result of my yelp review I received an email from Bonnie Brae Travel.  Basically they told us that they would refund our service fee if I took down the "derogatory" review. Also we needed to send in a signed letter stating that we will take no further action on yelp or any other web sites. Clearly we didn't do what she wanted. We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

Who uses a travel agent anymore?  I never do, except last fall when I was stuck in a sticky situation of trying to figure out when I would get an extended Visa from a certain country.  I needed a full-service travel agent who could work with me, finding flexibility so that travel dates could be changed as needed.Bonnie Brae Travel seemed on paper to fit the bill.  They were certainly old and presumably established.Big mistake.  I purchased my tickets through Jean at Bonnie Brae, only to be yelled at when I needed to make a change in my tickets, and ignored when I needed to suspend the ticket.  In the end, the money I paid Jean both for the round trip ticket to and from Europe and the $150 service charge she tacked onto my ticket for her "services" (yelling at me and being unresponsive) went down the drain.If it were possible to leave a review and give no stars at all, that is what I would do.  Run, don't walk, away from this ridiculous out-dated company.
